Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, received Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) and Editor-in-Chief of Al Ayam newspaper.
The chairman commended the efforts of media institutions in supporting the legislative branch and highlighting national developmental achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the Bahraini press to fulfil its national responsibilities, as well as its continued efforts in highlighting various projects and plans implemented by the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He appreciated the commitment of the Bahraini press to undertaking its national responsibility, by adopting issues that serve the kingdom and its citizens and raising public awareness.
Al Shaiji expressed his thanks to the chairman for appreciating the efforts of press and media institutions and their employees.
He affirmed his commitment to continue the support of the legislative branch and highlight its contribution to Bahrain’s development.
