Royal Endurance Team concludes participation in Padise 2023

Following directives from HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Endurance Team concluded its participation in the 120-km race of the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses, Padise 2023, held in Estonia.

42 jockeys from 12 countries took part in the race, which witnessed fierce competition. The four-stage race was marred by horses’ injuries.

The Royal Endurance Team’s participation in the championship adds to its presence in various international and European sporting gatherings in which it attained many successes.

The race provided an opportunity for Bahraini riders to gain experience and prepare for the upcoming and more important championships.

Royal Endurance Team’s jockey, Othman Abduljaleel Al Awadhi, clinched the 10th place in the championship.

Several horses of Bahraini riders suffered injuries at different stages of the race, resulting in their exclusion.

Riders of the Royal Endurance Team expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser for his constant follow-up and support, affirming that they have gained experience from this championship, which will benefit them during the upcoming events.

Dominika Malikova Kleinova, from Slovalkia, won the race, while Buti Ali Saif Ali Al Nuaimi (UAE), Gil Berenguer Carrera (Spain) and Saeed Ahmad Rashed Abdulla Al Shamsi (UAE) clinched the second, third and fourth places respectively.
