The Ground Forces Command confirmed its follow-up to the plan to secure the transmission towers for electricity.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated, “According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Minister of Defense, and the Army Chief of Staff, and with the follow-up of the Commander of the Ground Forces, the operations commands and divisions in the Iraqi army continue to provide the necessary protection for the transmission towers of electrical energy within the responsibility sectors, according to the plan set by the leadership.”
