The Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Arbaeen visit, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived today, Thursday, in Karbala Governorate, accompanied by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Commander of the Ground Forces, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Police Affairs, a representative of the Prime Minister’s Office and a number of officers, to follow up on special procedures Of Arbaeen visit.
The minister held a meeting with the concerned authorities, during which he stressed the need to intensify the intelligence and security effort and implement the drawn plans, stressing the presence of the leaders on a field basis in all the roads that the visitors take, noting: “This Million -Men visit is followed by many countries, and everyone must work to make it a success, since the preparations for it were early and very intensive.
He added: “The border crossings are ready to receive visitors from different countries of the world and provide them with the best services.”
