ICESCO-housed Islamic Civilization Museum, Exhibition Visited by 3 million People since November

The International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, currently held at ICESCO’s headquarters in Rabat, have been visited by over three million people since it opened in November last year.

To mark this record number, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), the Muslim World League and the Muhammadiyah League of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco, the co-organizers of the exhibition and museum, will hold a major celebration in Rabat, on August 25, expected to be attended by high-level officials, religious leaders, public figures, diplomats and media professionals from around the Islamic world.

The event will witness speeches by the heads of the three institutions and a screening of documentaries about the exhibition and the museum.

The International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization was inaugurated at ICESCO’s headquarters on November 17, 2022. The event was attended by Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Morocco Moulay El Hassan and several other officials. It opened its doors to the general public on November 28, 2022.
