The Army Chief of Staff chairs an expanded security conference in the Joint Operations Command

Baghdad, The Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, chaired today, Tuesday, an expanded security conference in the Joint Operations Command.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated: “The conference addressed a number of important security topics, and the attendees discussed them and made comments regarding everything that was presented at the conference, the overall security situation, and the most prominent obstacles facing the workflow.”

The Army Chief of Staff issued a number of recommendations and directives that would raise the level of work, enhance the security situation, take the highest levels of caution, intensify the intelligence effort, and constantly update plans in a way that secures all sectors of operations.

The conference was attended by a representative of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Director of Military Intelligence, the Commander of the Special Division, officers of the Staff Corps, a number of directorates of directorates, representatives of the Ministry of Interior and all security services, and the Secretary of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
