Detachments of the Rescue Police Department arrested a suspect who assaulted a traffic policeman in Badra district, east of Wasit Governorate.
A source in the Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the accused’s statements were duly recorded before the investigating judge and referred to the competent court.
