According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Hilal has showcased strong form, defeating Qatari side Al-Rayyan 3-1, Iraqi club Al-Shorta 5-0, and narrowly edging past Emirati team Al-Ain in a thrilling 5-4 win. In contrast, Esteghlal Tehran has struggled, managing only one win from three matches with two losses.
