Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, directed to control and raise the level of security capabilities.
A statement from Al-Sudani’s office stated: ‘The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, visited, this evening, Tuesday, the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in the capital, Baghdad. ”
Al-Sudani met with a number of senior security leaders, and was briefed on the security situation in various sectors of military responsibility, the progress of implementing security plans and the challenges facing military agencies and formations of all kinds, and the level of readiness, to ward off any risks and anything that could disturb security and stability.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed all security leaders to exert the utmost efforts necessary to maintain security throughout the country, and stressed the need to continue strengthening the capabilities of the security forces, and developing training mechanisms that
contribute to raising the level of readiness in the face of risks that may threaten the country, in light of the start of implementing the joint declaration with the United States regarding ending the mission of the international coalition in
Iraq within a year.
