Al-Sudani: The government is ready to continue support in order for the service to always be at the level of citizens’ aspirations

Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that the government is ready to continue support in order for the service to always be at the level of citizens’ aspirations.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement: ‘Today, Al-Sudani met with the president and officials of the Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah, on the occasion of the success of the Iraqi Hajj campaign, and the authority’s victory in the grand (Labbaytum) competition award, as the best mission among the missions operating in the Holy Land, for the second year in a row.’

Al-Sudani offered his congratulations to the Authority, its employees and all its teams for the esteemed rank they achieved, he also reviewed the details of the service provided to Iraqi pilgrims, the most important details of the challenges and difficulties that the mission faced, the methods for overcoming them, and the goal of sustaining the service in the best possible way.

Al-Sudani stated that the authority’s obtaining first place, among Hajj missi
ons from all over the Islamic world, proves the determination of the teams working in it, and their determination to maintain the level of performance and overcome obstacles, stressing that serving the citizen is an honor within the responsibility, and that the government is ready to continue support in order to be the service always meets the aspirations of citizens.

During the meeting, Al-Sudani directed the importance of conducting a detailed review of all work items, and following up on any defect, if any, whether as a result of work errors or side accidents, pointing out the approaching season of million-man visits, the occasions of Muharram, and the visit to commemorate the Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein and his companions (peace be upon them). It is an opportunity for all our service agencies to work to consolidate efforts, and to benefit from the review and successful experiences and disseminate them, especially the Authority’s experience in the organizational and implementation aspects.

Al-Sud
ani expressed his sincere condolences and prayers for mercy and forgiveness over the death of a member of the Iraqi Hajj Mission in the Holy Land, asking God Almighty to grant His mercy to all the pilgrims from all Islamic countries who passed away while performing the rituals of Hajj to the Sacred House of God.
