Cairo, Jan. 06, 2023, SPA — The Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Ghait welcomed the contents of the Egypt-sponsored Constitutional Document adopted by the speakers of both Libian State’s representatives and supreme councils, following their talks in Cairo yesterday.
In a statement, Abul Ghait expressed hope that this political development would be followed by practical and serious steps that would conduce to a clear-cut national road map leading towards a perfect political process crowned by elections as soon as possible.
In this context, he confirmed his organization’s support for any fair and serious endeavor aiming to revive the political process in Libya, end the long-lived transitional processes in the country and start a new state of stability and development.
