AlUla: The AlUla Languages Institute, affiliated with the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), has launched the Reviving Ancient Languages Program. This initiative aims to raise awareness of AlUla's linguistic heritage and enable residents to explore the region's history of languages and inscriptions. The program offers several specialized courses in ancient languages historically used in AlUla, including Aramaic, Thamudic, Dadanitic, Lihyanite, Musnad-al-Janubi, and Nabataean, along with a course on the origins of writing.
According to Saudi Press Agency, registration for the program opened on Sunday, May 4, 2025, via the AlUla Languages Institute website at https://uli.rcu.gov.sa/languages. Through this program, RCU seeks to provide learning opportunities to AlUla residents, thereby strengthening their connection to their rich cultural heritage.
