An Earthquake Measuring 3.5 Degrees In Shaqlawa, Erbil

The General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring, affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, announced that an earthquake measuring 3.5 degrees had been recorded northeast of Shaqlawa in Erbil.

The Ministry of Transport stated in a statement: “The earthquake was recorded at 11:32 pm local time on Thursday, and its magnitude reached 3.5 degrees, and it was 5 km northeast of Shaqlawa in Erbil Governorate.”

The report indicated that “it was not felt by citizens.”
