Amman: The annual meeting of the Steering Committee of the Platform for Dialogue and Cooperation between Religious Leaders and Institutions in the Arab World concluded yesterday in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The meeting was attended by a select group of religious leaders and representatives from institutions focused on interfaith and intercultural dialogue, affiliated with the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting aimed to discuss the past year's achievements, review the most prominent challenges, and develop a strategic action plan for the current year. This plan seeks to support social cohesion, combat hate speech, and consolidate the values of pluralism and mutual respect in the Arab world. Several Arab countries participated in this year's meeting, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, and Morocco.
