Arab Meeting Discusses Draft Protocol for Cooperation in Consumer Protection

Cairo– The work of the inaugural meeting of the Arab League’s open-ended group of experts and specialists in the field of consumer protection in the Arab countries, led by the Arab Republic of Egypt, began today at the headquarters of the Arab League’s Secretariat General.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the meeting was headed by Dr. Khalid Al-Turairi, Advisor at the Ministry of Commerce.

The meeting aims to discuss a number of issues pertaining to the consumer protection, including a proposal prepared by the Secretariat General of the Arab League on a draft protocol in the field of consumer protection among the Arab countries.
