ATO Awards Arab Tourism Medal to Iraqi Prime Minister

Baghdad: President of the Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid awarded the Arab Tourism Medal of the highest class to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani during the opening session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism meeting, held in Baghdad.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Fuhaid stated that the medal was awarded in recognition and appreciation of the Iraqi prime minister's continued support and patronage of development projects, particularly in Iraq's tourism sector, as well as for selecting Baghdad as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2025.

The award also reflects appreciation for Al Sudani's support of joint Arab action through cooperation between the Arab Tourism Organization and the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, which has resulted in numerous achievements and strengthened Arab cooperation in the tourism field.
