Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command closed “four” halls for practicing illegal gambling and arrested 57 accused inside them in “Al-Rahmaniyah” area next to Al-Karkh.

The Command stated in a statement: “In conjunction with the security plan and regional search and inspection operations, and with accurate information from the National Security Service, a force from the West Baghdad Security Directorate, in cooperation with detachments from (the Second Karkh Emergency Regiment, Al-Salihiya Police Station), was able to seize 4 halls for practicing illegal gambling and arrest 57 suspects in them, in addition to seizing the devices and display screens inside them, in “Al-Rahmaniya” area next to Karkh.

It added: “The accused and the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.”
