Riyadh:Brunei Darussalam: The Government of Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group have launched the IsDB Group-Brunei Darussalam Country Engagement Framework for 2026-2028. This marks the first strategic framework established between the two parties.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this framework signifies a new phase in the partnership between Brunei Darussalam and the IsDB Group. It aims to provide a structured approach to turn shared development priorities into actionable initiatives.

During the launch ceremony, IsDB Group Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser highlighted that the framework is not merely a strategic document but a transformation of shared priorities into a collaborative agenda. The focus is on connecting Brunei Darussalam's national goals with the expertise and resources of the IsDB Group.

The partnership will be facilitated by a joint steering committee and three working groups. These groups will identify and promote suitable projects and initiatives through 2028, utilizing the IsDB Group's extensive knowledge, financial instruments, and institutional capabilities.
