Makkah: Pilgrim Abdullah Abdulsalam, imam of a mosque in Ottawa, Canada, described the moment he first saw the Holy Kaaba as one of the most moving moments of his life after years of longing and prayer.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Abdulsalam recounted his overwhelming emotions, stating, 'I could not speak when I first caught sight of the Holy Kaaba. I could only shed tears, overwhelmed by emotion, as if my heart had found what it had been searching for all those years.'
The moment came after he was selected as a guest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. He expressed his gratitude to Allah Almighty and to the Kingdom for the care and services it provides to pilgrims.
