Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Football Association appreciates leadership’s patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Cup final

Riyadh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mishal, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his generous patronage of the final match of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Cup (2021-2022), and for HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister for attending and honoring this great sporting event.

Al-Mishal said: “The patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the attendance of HRH the Crown Prince are an extension of the unlimited support by the leadership to the sports sector in general and football in particular.” He added, “Saudi football and the great achievements it witnessed during the past period would not have reached that position had it not been for the generous support of the leadership,” praising the care and effort of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, who harnessed all potentialities to put the Kingdom’s name in regional international sports forums.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association wished success to the two teams who qualified for the final match, AlHilal and AlFayha, wishing them success and hoping they would present a distinguished performance that reflects the evolving reality of Saudi football.
