King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence Board of Trustees held its first meeting, chaired by Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Board of Trustees Chairman.
Shaikh Khalifa expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the royal trust and stressed his keenness to continue harnessing efforts to achieve HM’s visions in promoting the values of peaceful coexistence.
He praised the centre’s achievements through its programmes and activities in the past years, which reflected the openness of Bahraini society to different cultures in line with the strategic vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration and the royal decree to establish the centre.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda, recent achievements and future programs and plans.
