Commander-in-Chief chairs RCSNDC Supreme Council meeting

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College (RCSNDC).

BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, participated in the meeting.

The commander-in-chief was briefed by the college Commandant, Rear Admiral Abdullah Said Al-Mansouri, on the main phases of the academic year, including the academic military subjects and training programs.

He was also informed about the implementation procedures of the college’s development plans aimed at enhancing the quality of education and training there.

The meeting also discussed topics pertaining to upgrading the specialized training programs at the college.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed indicated that the BDF had attained numerous remarkable achievements at the combat and administrative levels thanks to the constant interest, and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, stressing the BDF’s unwavering keenness to constantly develop all academic curricular at various military training facilities.

The commander-in-chief highlighted the College’s role in the field of higher military education to prepare highly qualified officers who are equipped with all the modern military requirements.

He noted that the development of modernization process at the college has reflected positively on the operations carried out by various BDF’s task forces and units.

He added that the BDF is keen to develop the programs and curricula of the college, provide it with those qualified in the academic and military fields and work on raising their levels to be updated with the latest modern technology in military education.

The commander-in-chief wished the college’s faculty members and students success in fulfilling goals related to specialized training programs and academic affairs.
