Riyadh: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met in Riyadh with Republic of Belarus Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky to discuss strengthening bilateral partnerships in digital infrastructure, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting explored shared opportunities in developing telecommunications networks, expanding technological partnerships, and identifying projects that enhance both countries' readiness for the transition to the smart economy.
The two ministers discussed initiatives related to digital skills development, empowering digital entrepreneurship, and exchanging expertise in telecommunications regulation, contributing to the advancement of modern digital ecosystems.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of joint efforts to unlock new investment opportunities in future technologies, support cooperation between government entities and the private sector in both countries, and enhance international integration. They also highlighted the need to strengthen digital infrastructure and keep pace with global developments in the digital economy.
