Riyadh: The seventh International Conference of the Arab Society for Forensic Sciences and Forensic Medicine 2025 (ASFSFM2025) began today at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event, held from December 2 to 4, gathers 450 experts and academics from security and scientific institutions across the Arab world, as well as representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, France, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Australia, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and relevant international organizations.
The conference is recognized as a significant global scientific gathering specializing in forensic medicine and forensic science. It addresses the latest trends and challenges in these fields, aiming to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants.
The conference objectives include reviewing innovative technologies used in various areas of forensic science and medicine, enhancing cooperation among forensic scientists, universities, and law enforcement agencies, and exploring methods to integrate multidisciplinary research into criminal work. This integration is intended to ensure quality, unify standards across forensic fields, support investigations, and promote justice.
