Makkah, As the pilgrims make their way towards the Grand Mosque tomorrow, on Friday, the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, they will reach Mina, marking the beginning of the Hajj rituals and following the footsteps of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
Situated seven kilometres northeast of the Grand Mosque, Mina has a significant position between Makkah and Muzdalifah. This valley, surrounded by mountains from the north and south, lies within the boundaries of the Haram. Inhabited only during the Hajj period, Mina is bordered by Jamarat Al-Aqaba on the Makkah side and Wadi Muhsir on the Muzdalifah side.
The various sectors have diligently prepared to receive the incoming pilgrims, ensuring their readiness to facilitate a peaceful experience for them as they embark on their sacred rituals.
