Dust-Stirring Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Northern and Western Regions

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are expected to blow and heavy rain may fall in parts of Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Madinah regions. Rain may also affect areas in Makkah, Al-Baha, Jazan, Qassim, and Hail regions. In addition, fog formation is anticipated in these regions and parts of the Eastern Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds will sweep across the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom. The winds over the Red Sea will be southeasterly to southwesterly, reaching speeds of 10-60 km/h. Waves in this area will vary from half a meter to over two meters, with sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the wind patterns will differ, with northerly to northwesterly winds in the northern and central parts and easterly to northeasterly winds in the southern part at speeds of 10-30 km/h. The waves will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
