Economic and Development Affairs Council Discusses a Number of Issues

Jeddah– The Economic and Development Affairs Council virtually held a meeting today.

During the meeting, the Council was briefed on a number of reprts, presentations and issues on its agenda.

This included a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Health on the most recent health developments in the Kingdom related to coronavirus COVID-19.

The meeting also discussed a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding the economic and development report which contained the most important national and international economic developments as well as the most prominent future scenarios and expectations.

In its meeting, the Council also reviewed a presentation submitted by the National Center for Performance Measurement (ADAA) regarding the performance of governmental agencies for the second quarter of the current year, containing the general performance of the indexes of the general agencies by the end of the second quarter of the year 2022 as well as the results of the indexes of commitments of those agencies and the general performance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030 initiatives.

The Council was also briefed on the presentation submitted by the Ministry of Finance regarding the performance of the State’s general budget for the second quarter of the year 2022.

The Council took the necessary recommendations on those issues.
