Education intends to open schools in Egypt for students from the Gaza Strip

Ramallah – Ma’an – Minister of Education Dr. Amjad Barham announced today, Monday, that he will travel to the Arab Republic of Egypt in the coming period, with the aim of opening Palestinian schools in Egypt for the students of the Gaza Strip who are there, and whose number reaches about 15 thousand students.

He pointed out regarding the Tawjihi students in the Gaza Strip that they will have plans as soon as the Israeli aggression on the Strip ends.

Regarding the ministry’s efforts to provide relief to education in the Gaza Strip, Barham said that a session was held yesterday for the Council of Ministers of Palestinian Universities, in the presence of the universities of the Gaza Strip, and discussions were held on completing the mechanisms for reviving the educational process, restoring its course, and trying to save the academic year for students in the Strip, and providing practical training opportunities for students of the faculties of medicine, dentistry, engineering, and medical laboratories in the u
niversities of friendly countries, and providing places for training students, noting that it was agreed to send these students to the universities of Egypt, Pakistan, and South Africa, and to provide all the scholarships for them to join these faculties.

Barham explained that some of these students are in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the other part is in Gaza studying remotely.
