Riyadh: Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley met yesterday with the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for the Ocean, Ambassador Peter Thomson, as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation in marine and ocean environmental protection and support global initiatives to advance environmental sustainability in line with Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the Kingdom and the United Nations across various fields, with a particular focus on oceans and marine resources.
