Environment Ministry Wins Three Awards at MENA Stevie Awards, Marking New International Milestone

Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture achieved a new international milestone by winning one gold and two silver awards at the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Stevie Awards, one of the region's most prestigious platforms for recognizing workplace innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the awards drew competition from more than 18 countries across MENA, highlighting the ministry's position as a leading regional entity in adopting and advancing innovation.

The ministry secured the gold award in the Government Innovation Excellence category for its 'Transforming Resource Security through Systems Governance' initiative, reflecting its ability to develop modern governance models that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of resource management.

In addition, the ministry won two silver awards. The first was in the category of innovative multi-sector partnerships for its work in transforming resource security through governance and integrated systems coordination. The second silver award was in the public administration innovation category for its initiative focused on enabling technology scalability through regulatory support.

These achievements underscore the integration of institutional efforts and the effectiveness of coordination among various entities. They represent the ministry's integrated approach led by its Research and Innovation Agency, which focuses on strengthening strategic partnerships, promoting collaboration, and directing innovation toward sustainable impact across the environment, water, and agriculture sectors. This approach supports operational efficiency and enhances the quality of institutional outcomes.
