Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that Israel is nothing but a pawn in the region that will be sacrificed when the time comes and that it must realize that it is an occupying state.

Erdogan said this evening in a huge crowd in Istanbul, exceeding one and a half million, in support of Palestine: that the people of Gaza are defending their land and will not accept displacement, and that the West will withdraw from supporting Israel when the war enters the occupied territories and within this entity.

The Turkish President stressed that the West is most responsible for the massacre in Gaza, noting that 120 countries called on Israel through the United Nations to stop the war, which confirms that it is a alone country and will remain so.

He said: The West does what it wants without staining its hands while Israel is a pawn in its hands, stressing that without the support of Western countries, Israel will not last for three days and is a war criminal, and we will declare to the whole world that it is a war criminal.

Erdogan confirmed that they are making the necessary preparations to declare Israel a war criminal before the world, noting that Israel is committing massacres in Gaza in the dark, thinking that the world will not know about it.

He stressed that Gaza is the issue of all of us, and no one will be able to take it out of its humanitarian context.

He pointed out that Israel’s barbarism targets Gaza’s markets, schools, hospitals and residential units, stressing that the resolve of the people of Gaza strongly confronts Israel’s brutality.

Erdogan said: We stood today in solidarity with our brothers in Gaza, and we will not be satisfied with condemning the crimes, atrocities and violations that occur there.

He added: Israel was disturbed by my statement that Hamas is not a terrorist movement, and I reiterate that Hamas is not a terrorist movement and we will not be content with condemning what is happening in Gaza.

The Turkish President stressed that history will write the steadfastness of the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip as a “glorious epic of resistance,” and that “there is no victor but God.”

He said: “The position full of dignity, steadfastness and faith shown by the people of Gaza, despite this miserable scene, will be written in history as a glorious epic of resistance.”

He added: “Our hearts burn for Gaza and we will scream at the top of our voice to the world today.”

Erdogan continued: “We gathered for Gaza and we are concerned about the problems of our brothers and sisters.”

He added: “Therefore, we are here not only condemning the massacre in Gaza, but we are also defending our independence and our future.”
