Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the members of the Advisory Board of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council.
Representing Bahrain in the board, Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Ahmed Sabah Al Suloom, Hassan Eid Bukhamas, and Sabeeka Khalifa Al Fudhala.
The minister congratulated Bahrain’s representatives on their appointment in the Advisory Board, highlighting their competence and diverse experiences in the responsibilities entrusted to the Board.
He praised the Advisory Board's role in promoting joint GCC action and highlighting the specialised studies it conducted.
The minister wished the representatives success in their new tasks.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Ali Behzad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Abdulaziz Mohammad Al Eid, Chief of Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs.
