Riyadh– GCC General Department of Digital Transformation and Information Technology of the General Secretariat, in cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Authority, today, held a session to raise the level of awareness of cybersecurity for the employees of the General Secretariat in Riyadh. The session aims at building a high cyberculture and creating a safe environment as this comes within the authority’s mission to enhance cybersecurity in the Kingdom to reduce risks, enhance confidence and enable growth, thus contributing to a safe and reliable cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.
The awareness session focused on three axes aimed at protecting cyberspace, reviewing the methods used in cyber attacks, the importance of cybersecurity at the national level, and the safe methods and practices to protect the cybersecurity system.
The session is part of the partnerships undertaken by the GCC General Secretariat to benefit from the expertise of specialized bodies in all fields to enhance the process of joint Gulf action.
