Gusty Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Several Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Gusty winds and moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by hail, are anticipated in the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Eastern Region is expected to experience rising temperatures. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are forecasted for Riyadh, Najran, Madinah, Makkah, and Eastern regions, potentially impacting visibility, especially on the coastal road leading to Jazan, where it may drop to near zero.

Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northerly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 12-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly, reaching 15-50 km/h in the southern part. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to two and a half meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will predominantly be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-35 km/h in the northern and central parts, shifting to easterly to northeasterly at 10-30 km/h in the southern part. The wave height is expected to be between half a meter and one and a half meters, with relatively calm sea conditions.
