Jeddah: Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah visited the lounge dedicated to the Makkah Route Initiative at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah today. He received one of the initiative's beneficiary flights arriving through Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Rabiah reviewed the procedures and efforts made to facilitate pilgrims' journey. He emphasized the importance of expediting the completion of their procedures, providing them with optimal services, and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease.

The Ministry of Interior is responsible for implementing the initiative, which is now in its eighth year. Since its inception in 2017, the Makkah Route Initiative has served 1,254,994 pilgrims, ensuring a smooth and efficient pilgrimage experience.
