Jeddah: Heavy rain, accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, is expected to cause flash floods in parts of the Jazan and Aseer regions. Moderate to heavy rainfall is anticipated in Najran, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, with fog likely to form on the highlands of these regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 12-50 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights may range from half a meter to over two meters, contributing to a sea that will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 12-30 km/h. Wave heights in the Gulf are expected to reach half a meter to one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
