Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's success at the Paris 2024 Olympics which includes winning four medals. The minister emphasised that this success adds to the Kingdom's record of sporting achievements. He highlighted that this victory reflects the advanced level that the Bahraini sports has reached, under the leadership of HM the King. Shaikh Salman lauded the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to accomplishments of the Bahraini sports regionally and internationally. He commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), and their commitment to further advance Bahraini sports to achieve more successes.
