Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics, achieved by Bahraini athlete Winfred Yavi.
HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid emphasised that this achievement is a result of HM the King’s unwavering support of the sports sector and directives to provide the best facilities for Bahraini sports.
