His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of thanks and gratitude from General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, Chairman of the Follow-up Committee on the Implementation of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of patriotism “Bahrainouna”, on the noble values and sound directives embedded in HM’s keynote speech at the opening of the second session of the sixth legislative term.
The Interior Minister lauded HM King Hamad’s constant keenness to open various sessions of the legislative terms of the National Assembly, which boosts the kingdom’s pioneering democratic process.
He affirmed that HM the King’s keynote address represents a roadmap for various tracks of national action, adding that it supports the kingdom’s democratic values through cooperation between the executive and legislative branches towards achieving the noble national goals.
The Interior Minister expressed pride in HM King Hamad’s directives to activate the plan to preserve the historical and cultural identity of Bahrain’s buildings and cities, as well as launch the Muharraq City Development Plan.
The lofty royal directives represent a national platform that consolidates national identity, he said, adding that Bahrainouna is based on the values promoted by HM the King’s comprehensive development process.
