Riyadh: The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, part of the Human Rights Commission, has successfully concluded the third phase of its "Training of Trainers on Combating Trafficking in Persons" program. This phase of the program took place from September 28 to 30 at the commission's headquarters, in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aimed at qualifying 20 trainers in the field of combating trafficking in persons. These trainers were equipped to master the preparation and effective development of specialized training packages. The program included six sessions that focused on defining and reviewing the components of various training packages, with a particular emphasis on those specialized in anti-trafficking efforts. Participants engaged in practical training, which included package preparation, group exercises, and presentations and discussions.
