IENA 2024 Concludes with Deals Exceeding SAR350 Million

Riyadh: The second annual International Exhibition for the Nonprofit Sector (IENA 2024) concluded in Riyadh with the signing of 124 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs), surpassing a value of 350 million Saudi riyals.

The deals were signed between nonprofit civil associations, organizations, and several state bodies, representing an 80% increase in the number of agreements compared to the previous year’s edition.

Themed “Effective Partnerships for Sustainable Development Goals,” IENA 2024 spanned three days and witnessed the participation of 90 exhibitors, marking a 22% growth from last year.

The exhibitors encompassed government bodies, international organizations, donor institutions, civil, professional, and specialized associations, as well as the private and service providers from the nonprofit sector.

This year, IENA welcomed 12,627 visitors, indicating a significant 46% rise in attendance compared to the previous edition.

The exhibition discussed topics related to humanitarian and chari
table endeavors and explored how to leverage the potential of the nonprofit sector.

Throughout the dialogue sessions held during the exhibition, speakers advanced a multitude of recommendations and suggestions aimed at advancing development.

IENA underscored the rapid advancements within the nonprofit sector and its contribution to the realization of the goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

The exhibition served as a platform for continuous communication among professionals working in the nonprofit sector, facilitating the establishment of relationships between local and international nonprofit entities.

Moreover, IENA showcased diverse experiences and success stories from participating entities, both from the local and international spheres.
