Riyadh: Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Secretary General Major General Mohammed Al-Moghedi has met with Ambassador-at-Large to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Claude Ibalanky. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to efforts in combating and addressing terrorism.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Ibalanky was briefed on the IMCTC and its strategic initiatives, recent developments regarding terrorist groups, and the monitoring and follow-up mechanisms that support IMCTC’s efforts in this area. Al-Moghedi emphasized the importance of international cooperation in fostering security and peace. He urged the Democratic Republic of the Congo to join the coalition’s member states, highlighting the opportunities for exchanging expertise and benefiting from the coalition’s strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering global peace.
