Industry Minister Concludes Official Visit to France to Boost Economic Ties

Paris: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef concluded his three-day official visit to France. He led a delegation from the industry and mining sector to strengthen economic relations, advance cooperation, and attract quality investments to Saudi Arabia.



According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Alkhorayef met with French government officials and prominent industrial and mining executives. Key discussions were held with the interministerial delegation for the supply of strategic minerals and metals, the CEOs of Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Commercial Aircraft, and leaders of Safran, Orano Mining, Sidel, and Bel Group.



These meetings explored investment opportunities in mining and advanced industries such as commercial aviation, helicopters, satellites, and food. The Kingdom’s incentives and support for attracting quality investments and streamlining investor procedures were also highlighted.



Alkhorayef also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Saudi Industrial Center and Sidel, a global leader in food and liquid packaging solutions, to establish a regional service center and a human resources training center in Saudi Arabia.



The visit aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the Kingdom’s industrial capabilities in promising strategic sectors that achieve diversification for the national economy.
