Interactive Screens Installed in Grand Mosque to Enhance Hajj Experience for Female Visitors

Riyadh: The women's affairs agency of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched smart interactive screens inside women's prayer areas at the Grand Mosque, aimed at enhancing cognitive awareness and providing easy access to religious information in a modern and innovative manner.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these smart screens allow female visitors to the Grand Mosque to browse Islamic books, access fatwas, and download religious content in 19 international languages, catering to the diverse nationalities of pilgrims and worshippers.

Undersecretary for Women's Affairs at the Grand Mosque Dr. Aisha Al-Aqla emphasized that the presidency is committed to advancing smart initiatives across all sectors of the women's affairs agency. She noted that efforts are underway to increase the number of interactive screens in order to provide a more integrated religious and educational environment. The initiative is designed to enrich the spiritual experience of visitors, with each screen offering access to more than 62 titles of digital Islamic books.
