Iraq and Lebanon discuss coordinating positions at the eighth Brussels conference to support the future of Syria and the region

Baghdad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, discussed today, Monday, with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib coordination of positions at the eighth Brussels conference to support the future of Syria and the region.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Hussein met, today, Monday, with Bou Habib, on the sidelines of the eighth Brussels conference to support the future of Syria and the region.

During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, in addition to discussing the situation in the Middle East region, especially with regard to the Syrian issue.

According to the statement, the two sides discussed coordinating positions at the eighth Brussels conference to support the future of Syria and the region, ways to help Syrian refugees, support the Syrian economy, which is suffering from great difficulties, and work to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians through the wo
rk of the Arab Contact Committee on Syria.
