The Iraqis ranked third in buying apartments in Turkey during the month of July, after the Russians and Iranians.
The Turkish Statistics Authority stated in a statement today, Tuesday, that the total number of apartments sold to foreigners during the month of July amounted to 2801 properties, and the Russians occupied the first place by purchasing 772 properties, followed by the Iranians 272, and the Iraqis 204 apartments.
Antalya topped the list of Turkish states that sell the most real estate to foreigners with 998 properties, then Istanbul with 832 properties and Mersin with 263 properties.
The Turkish Statistical Authority indicated in its statement that apartment sales to foreigners declined during July by 28.9 % compared with previous June. / End
