IsDB Group’s 12th Private Sector Forum – a Successful Endeavor

Riyadh: The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group’s private sector arm is holding the 12th Private Sector Forum here from April 28 to 30. The event, coinciding with the IsDB’s Annual Meetings and Golden Jubilee, brought together over 2,000 participants from 83 countries.

The forum offers a platform for businesses to connect, explore investment and trade opportunities in IsDB member countries, and learn about IsDB Group’s activities and initiatives. It also featured B2B/B2G meetings, exhibitions, a start-up competition, and award-granting ceremonies.

IsDB Group Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser said the forum plays an important role in promoting public-private sector collaboration for economic and social development. He highlighted its success, to which 17 sessions, over 60 speakers, 32 exhibitors, and the signing of 53 agreements worth $6.486 billion stand testimony.

The forum is also a platform where IsDB Group entities could showcase their work.

Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Expo
rt Credit CEO Oussama Kaissi said the forum is an important venue for exploring innovative trade ideas, and insurance and investment strategies, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector Acting CEO and International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation CEO Hani Salem Sonbol emphasized the focus on sustainability and development, and the potential for collaboration with the private sector.
