Algiers: The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, will participate in the Intra-African Trade Fair, scheduled to be held in Algeria from 4 to 10 September 2025.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fair will bring together over 2,000 exhibitors from 75 countries, along with approximately 35,000 professional visitors. Trade and investment agreements are expected to exceed $44 billion.
Organized in cooperation with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), the week-long fair will feature a program of networking activities, conferences, and cultural shows, in addition to a roster of exhibitors showcasing African innovation and entrepreneurship.
The fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair represents an opportunity to advance the African Continental Free Trade Area towards tangible results. Its program will cover multiple sectors, including agriculture, industry, energy, and health, as well as transport, innovation, and startups.
Dedicated spaces will also be provided for young entrepreneurs and university researchers. Special days will be allocated to countries and entities from both the public and private sectors to showcase their opportunities in trade, investment, tourism, and culture, with the aim of making this edition the most prominent in terms of economic impact and international reach, while strengthening Algeria's role as a driver of African development.
