Makkah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh approved the results and names of the winners in the 45th session of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event took place at the Grand Mosque in Makkah from Safar 15 to 26, 1447 AH. It gathered 179 contestants hailing from 128 countries, all competing in five distinct categories. This year's competition featured a total prize pool of SAR4 million, underscoring its significance and the level of talent it attracts from around the globe.
