Khost: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance branch in Hail has intensified field visits to mosques across the city and surrounding governorates: These efforts are part of a comprehensive plan to prepare 895 mosques and prayer halls for the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring a safe, organized, and spiritually enriching environment for worshippers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the field visits focused on on-site inspections of maintenance, cleaning, and safety standards. Teams verified the functionality of fire extinguishers and emergency exits, as well as the smooth flow of movement within prayer halls, to maximize safety and protection against potential hazards.
The branch detailed that preparations for the 895 locations included deep cleaning, carpet care, and the sanitization of Quran copies. Technical teams addressed electrical and plumbing issues, inspected air conditioning and ventilation systems, and verified the structural integrity of the buildings.
Special attention was given to upgrading and maintaining women's prayer areas to ensure they are fully equipped for comfort. Furthermore, the mosques have been perfumed with special fragrances to create a tranquil atmosphere conducive to devotion.
